The BEST Thing You Can Do For Glowing Skin

The BEST Thing You Can Do For Glowing Skin

It’s honestly quite simple, and I am seriously shocked at the amount of my friends and family that don’t do this one easy thing (myself included until now). We take it for granted, but I swear it’s the answer to a lot of health problems and everyone has access to it.

So, you’re probably wondering what this little secret is.. well.. it’s………. drumroll please……

Not one person that I know drinks enough water. I have been carrying a big jug around and tracking my water intake and I feel SO much better when I have enough water and it’s like my skin magically improves immediately. It’s crazy what a little more water can do for you!

I was reading something the other day that was talking about how people start drastically aging after around 30 simply because they’re chronically dehydrated. (I annoyingly can’t find the article again or I would add a link!)

I know it’s a little late, but if you set intentions for the new year, or resolutions, or you just want to feel better and look better, or all the above… I urge you to add drinking. more. water. to that list if it’s not there already!

Most women should be drinking at least 2.7 liters / 11.5 cups of water every day.

Most men should be drinking at least 3.7 liters / 15.5 cups of water every day.

Here are some other articles that might support my case:

Let me know if you try this out, and how you’re feeling and looking after a couple weeks! 🙂

Why We Don’t Use Coconut Oil in Our Products

Why We Don’t Use Coconut Oil in Our Products

Don’t get me wrong, coconut oil is great for many reasons but I try to keep it away from my face. I have pretty sensitive skin, and my face does not like coconut oil at all. I formulated all our products without any coconut oil because I couldn’t find a good natural skincare line that didn’t have it listed as an ingredient prior to Glo Wild’s existence and like I said– my face was not a fan.

Why your face probably won’t like it either:

Coconut oil is highly comedogenic with a rating of 4 out of 5. This means it will clog your pores and more than likely cause an ugly breakout!

It does have many amazing skin benefits, but I would keep it away from your face. Unless it works for you, then keep doing what you’re doing! It won’t irritate some skin types.

There are plenty of other natural moisturizers that are as, if not more, amazing than coconut oil so it’s pretty easy to find a substitution.

I hope you all have an amazing day and I’ll talk to you soon!
